Are you GDPR Compliant?

We have updated our Data Protection Privacy Policy, and given full details of how ourselves at Camber & Kernz and our third party providers use your data.  Please have a look on the Data Protection / GDPR Policy


The information we hold on our spreadsheet is retained for 12 months (annual).  We then contact you and ask if you are still happy to keep your account with us open.  If you specifically consent to 'yes' to keeping your account live, your Name, Address, Contact Details and Email Address will be kept for a further 12 months.


If you decide to close your account or wish to have your details removed, you only need to unsubscribe and everything from our records will be removed.  Please note; if you are in the process of completing a transaction, we have a legal obligation to keep your information until the transaction is completed. If we do not receive your consent to continue to keep your information, your account will be deleted.

Have any of your products had treatments?

There is no single answer to this question. Some gemstones do have treatments due to their unique properties and requirements. Please see our dedicated Treatments page

 

Where do you source your gemstones?

Most of Camber & Kernz gemstone purchases are sourced from Jewellery Maker. This and sister company Gemporia support the Equal World Foundation. For more information on how Camber and Kernz source their products and much more please see our Ethically Sourced and Treatments page

 

Is your site secure?

Yes it is. Whilst you are browsing our product pages no personal information is taken here, but rest assured as soon as you go to register your details by opening an account or go the shopping cart you will see the site instantly changes to https in the browser which then means you are on a secure SSL site. Camber and Kernz does not hold any Credit/Debit card details these are in an encrypted format which we never see or have access to your secure payment details.

 

Do you offer combined postage if I buy multiple items?

Yes we do. If multiple items are purchased in the same transaction, we will endeavor to combine postage to keep the shipping costs to a minimum. Please use the Contact Us form if you have any problems at the check out. If, when we ship your multiple item order, your shipping costs are less than we quoted, we will refund any difference.

 

Do you pay my International Customs charges?

International Orders - these may be subject to import duties and taxes outside of our control, which may be levied when the goods arrive in your country. These are the sole responsibility of the buyer. We are legally required to state the value of the goods and complete a customs declaration for these at the time of posting. If you are unsure, please consult the customs authority in your own country for further details. We have no control over these and are unable to reimburse any charges.
